Paguyuban Peminat Seni Tradisi Jawa Timur 2012

It is a blast month.. Surprisingly, we won the best performance at the PPST that was held at Taman Krida Budaya Malang, a few days ago. In terms of music, theater, and dance, we showed and got one of the big 5 of the 21 participants from various high schools in Jawa Timur.

Thank God and thank you to the team who had worked intensely, and gave me a new experience of traditional art which is gonna be one of my turning away points that I want to go for the future.

The story is about two giants who were in fight to get a beautiful woman to marry. Cleverly and to destroy existing insolence in both, the woman called Kilisuci, sent one giant, Jatha Sura killed another one named Lembu Suro (which I played).

Lembu sura was killed, but it did not make Jatha Sura getting Kilisuci to marry, there is one condition again, to make ​​a well. It was done, but in fact Kilisuci sent Jatha Sura into the well. And with the power of magical, Jatha suro condemned everything around him. And this is the origin of the dance from Tulungagung, TARI REOG KENDANG.

Ini kisahku, ini ceritaku, ini pengalamanku. Bukan bisa dikata menyakitkan, atau mengenaskan, tetapi hanya stinging my butt. Oke. Tahun pertama kuliah ini sedikit lagi selesai, semester 2 aku rasa lebih berwarna dibanding semester sebelumnya.
