Greetings from Mt. Bromo!! It was the most valuable time since I realized that I exist in this world to be wiser and survived with all things I have. Being with my family the whole time in new year's eve till the first dawn in 2014 and then joking on walk to the summit of Bromo the next day, was the great thing. It was bad though, we couldn't catch sunrise. The fog was so horrible. But we still knew that savana always sounded nice to be gathering and having fun. Probably I had done it for couple times, but this chance, enjoying with my family, I felt so.. oh man, I can't tell, but I was really happy. And now, n e w y e a r 's r e s o l u t i o n ! ! Just kidding, I have none. Because it's not like I really wanna change. I'll just go with the flow. And I wouldn't change my life for nothing. I have the most amazing friends and loving family. Those are who make me who I'm today, with the love and support I have. Thanks everybody, you are...
We changed our plan today. We heard that Yosemite is closed because of thunder storm last night. So today we went to the Point Reyes with Zarin. We saw light house there, but it was closed so we couldn't go enter inside. We were looking for white whales instead of this. We saw them 3 times came out of the sea showing their tail. Being in ocean made me felt closer to Indonesia. You know actually if I just crossed the Passific Ocean, I could have gotten Indonesia. Hhehe. For the first time to be on Bart (trains which cross under sea water). I could tell, I was afraid. Think if there was an earthquake, what could happen? Oh noo.. Yesterday we went to Jack London State Park in Sonoma City, North of Bay area. Jack London was a famous writer who had gone adventure around the world I saw wine country. Being there reminded me of Sendang. The weather, the farm area, field.
Long way to get Grand Canyon National Park, I'm staying at the Red Canyon State Park tonight. It's still half way to get there after we left Yosemite at around 8.00 am this morning. It's exciting place. What'd you feel if you came in the desert at the first time. For me, it's so amazing. But it's dry all the time, my lips, my skin are dry. Dusty air blows every time I breathe. The cold is not like in the snow, it's windy. But I feel like in the western movie. Yihaaaa, Yodelehiii hiiiii... As you know, every time I clean my paper off the dust. My tent is blowed by the wind. And I wonder why dust can still get into my tent? My tent is supposed to be strong! :) It's not like in Yosemite that I gotta watch out for bears attack, now I get to be careful for scorpion and snakes. Hey I have to do something to these guys, even though they are my zodiac symbol, they can't be complained. Hehe..
